Cancellation Policy

The fine print

For bookings made directly with Shear-Vue Farmstay:

If you cancel your booking up to 14 days prior to your arrival date, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel within 7 days of your arrival date you will not receive a refund. There is no refund if you don’t show up.

Please ensure that your travel insurance covers you for unexpected events resulting in last minute cancellations, including adverse weather conditions.

 

If you can't make it due to an unexpected event (for example, road closure, adverse weather), we can refund you only if we re-book the accommodation for the same date. 

 

For bookings made through a third party (for example, Airbnb, Booking.com):

The cancellation policy of the third party booking platform will apply.

 

COVID-19 refund policy

If you can’t travel to Shear-Vue Farmstay due to New Zealand or Australian COVID-19 government restrictions, we will either reschedule (if possible) at no charge, or fully refund any monies paid. 

 

Confirmation of direct bookings:

We will confirm your booking via email once you have either booked on our website, or booked by phone or email.

 

Payments:

Payment is via bank transfer, or upon arrival. We will email the payment details in your booking confirmation.
